About this event
Carol Strickland will be hosting Mah Jongg game day at Heather Gardens. We will be joining the HG Mah Jongg group that plays on Mondays 1 pm – 4 pm in the Blue Spruce Room located in the clubhouse. Take the short steps by the fireplace up to the second floor, turn left follow the signs to the Blue Spruce Room. This group does play for money but we will not be unless you choose to. They would be happy to have us join in their games.
If not familiar with Mah Jongg, it is a game of skill and luck using domino-like tiles. The object is to collect winning sets of these tiles, as in card games such as gin rummy. You will need the 2023 Mah Jongg League card to play.
Curious about the game, but don’t know how to play, feel free to come by to observe. Carol can be available for a lesson prior to the event. Registration is limited to 12 people to play. Let Carol know if you would like to drop by to observe.
