Who is SSC?

 
 
 Sports ’n Social Connections (SSC) is a Denver-based non-profit (501- C7) club for active seniors. SSC provides many excellent, entertaining opportunities for Colorado front-range seniors to participate in sporting and social activities - often at the same time!

Now in our second successful decade of delivering great fun, SSC believes that 'activity is the key to longevity'. Offering a variety of many events helps all our members stay active while making exciting new friendships.

No matter your interests, whether it be sports like golf, bowling, or billiards; or social actives such as theater, dinner / dances, or happy hours - SSC’s broad based variety and quantity of activities can suit your desires to be an active senior citizen.

SSC’s size is perfect - small enough that you will quickly come to know everyone in the club yet large enough that every event is well attended.
Great Times!

     Aside from the usual sports and social events (in many months more activities than days!), we also have six major events each year offering fabulous, enjoyable occasions. Check out our Events Calendar for details of all past and future events.
 
Internet Communication
     Communication within SSC is web-based with event registration, weekly updates, information on all activities, forums, and even polls to solicit opinions. As a member, you’ll be able to see profiles of other club members and you’ll be notified in advanced on all events where you’ve expressed an interest.

What Makes SSC Different?

 
 Not a Singles Club
 
 
 
We're not a singles-only club (couples make up about 30% of our membership) although many of our couples met their partners in SSC. Unlike many clubs, there's no requirement to leave the club should you meet someone special.
 
 Low Fees
    
 
SSC membership fees are currently at $75.00 a year.  Where else can you get great deals on theater tickets, greens fees, and dinner dances for a mere $6.25 a month! Contact us to learn how you can join by clicking here.
 
 Extraordinary Events    
 
SSC is a club led only by volunteers where no event is out of bounds. We encourage all members to get involved by sponsoring or assisting in current activities and ask them to bring their creativity in coordinating new and unusual ones.
