About this event
We will walk along Clear Creek starting in downtown Golden. This is a beautiful trail with many trees and stunning views of the creek with the foothills backdrop. The fall colors should be great!! We will walk as far as the group wants to go .... probably 3 - 4 miles .... but many shorter paths are available.
We will meet at the Golden Library front entrance (entrance that faces the creek). Parking is available just to the west of the library building. Do not park in the spaces reserved for the library but park in the pay lot just to the west of that. Payment for parking is made on your phone .... the first two hours are free but we will need 3 or 4 hours to include time at the restaurant.
Following the hike we will walk about 7 minutes to the Golden Mill restaurant for food and drinks. We won't have to move our cars.
